Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to tow it?
A vehicle with a hitch receiver and a 2-inch tow ball. If you do not have a 2in ball, one can be rented for $5.
Is there a discount for booking more than 1 day?
Yes there is: if you book 3+ days the rate is $190 per ski per day. One- and two-day rentals are $225 per ski per day.
What time do I pick up and drop off?
Pickup runs 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and return runs 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, both at 3600 Scorpius Way, Redding, CA.
How old do I have to be to ride?
Operators must be 21+ years old. Passengers of any age are welcome in a properly fitted vest, up to three people on board per jetski.
How long will I have the ski for?
9 hours. Giving you a leisurely time window to explore lake shasta, stop for lunch, island hop, or explore the coves and watch the sunset.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Pets are welcome on the ski and we keep doggie life jackets on hand — mention it when you book and we’ll have one sized and ready with your gear.
Is there a deposit?
No. A $500 hold goes on the card at pickup and drops off within 48 hours of return, assuming the ski and trailer come back the way they left. No hidden cleaning charges.
Does it come with a full tank of gas?
Yes, the WaveRunner will come with a full tank and will need to be returned with a full tank of gas. Regular gas is fine.
Are there gas stations on the lake?
Yes there are several gas stations located at the marinas.
